Palimpsest, n. and adj. In extended use: a thing likened to such a writing surface, esp. in having been reused or altered while still retaining traces of its earlier form; a multilayered record. (Oxford English Dictionary, 2007)

"Every Word That's Said Is Going To Kinda Create a Din" was a week long performance consisting of the capturing and repetition of snippets of conversation taking place in a room. These snippets were "tweeted" out of context, and subjected then to several further perversions.

The work was an exploration of the effects of translation, and the removal of the human elements of communication when presented in a digital online form.
